We will not be able to welcome any more teams as we are unable to add more games to the schedule. We are already using three pitches which is the maximum amount. Next year we will try to increase the number of teams again.
Jyväskylä's calling Rugby players from all over the world to compete in this unique tournament in the heart of Finland! Enjoy a full day of intense rugby in a great atmosphere near the snowy hills of Laajavuori. 15 Men's and 10 Ladies' + 5 Youth teams will have the chance to compete for the title of Snow Rugby Champion 2012.
The games will be held on Saturday 3rd of March, from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. After the games all the players, coaches, referees and spectators are warmly welcome to enjoy a closing ceremony and dinner in Nightclub Freetime.
Jyväskylä Rugby Club has been the host for this venue since 2002. The very first Jyväskylä 7's Snow Rugby Tournaments were played on the ice of Lake Jyväsjärvi. Past years' participants include players from Luxembourg, Wales and Ireland. In recent years, the tournament has been played on pitches located next to the famous Laajavuori ski centre.
